I recently ventured into the world of online dating.

And what a fascinating world it is!

I had never been one to consider online dating as a serious contender for ways to meet my significant other, but with COVID changing the way we socialise — I had no other choice.

A couple of months into a new year (and ready to welcome a new relationship) I created a profile. With much trepidation.

This was a bigger deal for me than you’d think.
